FAQ
How does the kit remove parts?
The VAAPR™ Print Surface releases parts automatically as it cools. Tilt or flex helps them fall away without any additional effort.
Does it work with high-temp materials?
Yes. Materials like ABS, ASA, and Nylon release reliably once the bed cools to the proper threshold. For enclosed printing, our AF3D Door Opener is required.
What if prints get stuck?
The VAAPR surface ensures that adhesion is near zero significantly once the print has cooled. This way, prints don't get stuck.
Will my first layer warp?
VAAPR has incredibly high adhesion when hot, so your first layer has an even lower chance of warping than on a standard PEI sheet. If you experience warping, make sure you're following our recommended slicer settings.
